Inflatable Corner Protectors for Artwork & Picture Frames
Our inflatable picture frame corner protectors protect the most vulnerable parts of framed artwork, pictures and mirrors during storage and transport. Designed for frames and items 30–40mm thick, these Small BUBL Pods inflate around each corner to create a protective air barrier between the item and the outer shipping carton.
Unlike conventional foam or cardboard corner protectors, BUBL Pods are supplied flat, inflated when required and can be reused.
Why Corner Protection Matters
Corners and edges are particularly vulnerable during handling and delivery. An impact to a corner can damage the frame, crack glass or transfer force into the artwork itself.
By protecting all four corners, BUBL Pods help absorb impacts and keep the framed item securely positioned inside its shipping box.
What Size Do I Need?
This Small corner protector is designed for frames and items with a thickness of 30–40mm.
Measure the thickness of the frame or item at the point where the corner protector will fit.
BUBL Corner Protector size guide:
- Extra Small – 15–30mm
- Small – 30–40mm
- Medium – 40–50mm
- Large – 50–70mm
- Extra Large – 70–80mm
Four corner protectors are normally required to protect one framed item.
Suitable for More Than Artwork
Although designed primarily for artwork and picture frames, these inflatable corner protectors can be used for many rectangular products where the corners and edges are vulnerable to impact.
Typical applications include framed prints, photographs, mirrors, certificates, signs, display panels and other framed or flat products within the appropriate thickness range.
Supplied Flat – Inflate When Required
BUBL Pods are supplied uninflated, dramatically reducing the storage space required compared with bulky pre-formed protective packaging.
When required, simply inflate the protectors using a hand pump or compressed air and fit one to each corner before placing the protected item into its outer shipping carton.
Each protector uses multiple independent air chambers, so if one chamber is accidentally punctured, the remaining chambers stay inflated and continue to provide protection.
